This week I barely played any poker, to be honest I didn't feel like playing at all. I had a pretty busy week with exams and work so I couldn't make any long session which is the way to make money in the online poker world. Actually, I played 1 session, a shorthanded (6people max), played around 800 hands and won something like 50$USD. I played friday at my friend's house and almost left before we actually started because people were arguing for no reason and I just wanted to chill and relax for a bit, I didn't want to hear that kind of talk after my week. After a bad week the sun always shine and it was true last week. Sunday I was invited to deal in a 1$/2$ cashgame live in Montreal (200$ buyin). I dealt from 16h00 to 9am non-stop (I went to the bathroom once, that's it lool) and pretty much runned the game from the start to the begining. My boss was playing in the game so if I had any questions he was siting next to me. It was a pretty good experience, and a pretty lucrative one also :D (basically my salary is tips only but I can assure you that players aren't cheap when they win over 600$). I won't say exactly how much I won in that dealing session but I was happy to miss my early classes monday to get that much money and receive a pretty good live dealing experience.
The HOTW (hand of the week) happened sunday in that 1$/2$ cashgame. Blinds are 1$ and 2$. My boss is first to act, he bumps to 4$, a really agressive player siting on my left reraises to 12$, SB (small blind) calls so does my boss. Three players in pot is around 38$ so far. Flop comes : 2-2-9 (2clubs). SB (with around 350$) raises to 32$, my boss reraises to 82$, the really agressive player (with over 500$ in front of him) rereraises to allin. SB thinks for a while and finally calls, my boss fold (he tryed to steal the pot lool, bad timing). Pot is over 800$, both flip their cards, both have 2-3. The really agressive player have one club so he has a backdoor flushdraw or else it's a split pot. Turn is : Jclub... River: Kclub and wins the pot with a flush. That happens like 1% of the time...he got really lucky and I got a nice 25$ tip right away haha. Insane pot.

New section and more!
There's a lot more than poker in my life, one of my favorite hobby is to actually create layout for websites and such. In the newest section, located on the middle-right of my site, you can find my lastest realisations designwise.
Another thing, I had to do four layouts on specific themes in my design and creativity class. I chosed skiing, trip,

HOTW and report
Sorry for the late update. The last week I mainly played SNG turbo (4 tables at once) of 3.40$ each. I played around 290 to gain 100$USD, was pretty bad $/hour but I'm just practicing to get into the 6.5$ ones and then 12$ etc. My ROI was around 26%. What is a ROI? Return on investment, ROI is calculated as (100 * total profit/total buy-in). To summarize, I won roughly around 116.50$ in a lot of hours. Let's say a cheap 5.6$/hour :[
For the hand of this week I decided to show you what's the downfall of poker : swing. In this hand (even thought I played it bad) you're going to feel why is luck part of this game. Even thought luck dosen't make you a winning player, it does affect good player like me (LOOL I'm modest) that we can't win every hands even if we know we're ahead. Pot is over 104$USD dollar. :[

High Stakes Poker AA vs KK
High stakes poker is THE cashgame show on T.V. This hand feature two worldclass poker players (Barry Greenstein with AA and Samy Farha with KK). It was really unfortunate for both players to hold down those monsters when that hand is actually the last one of the night.
Summary of the hand :
Barry raises to 2,100$
Samy reraises to 12,500$
Barry reraises to 50,000$

First week summary
My first week was only a compilation of three days. I started friday with a short NL25$ session (4tables at the same time for 1h45, played around 320hands) and finished up 50$ (2x buy-ins). It was pretty boring, I won't lie, basically my main strategy was just sitting, waiting for a huge hand and maximize my profit when that happens. I also played saturday night at my friend's house (a 10$ tourney with rebuy for 1hour and addon) and finished second for a 40$ profit (3h30). Sunday I only played 1 SNG online (6.50$ buyin) and finished first for a 27$ gain (21.50$ profit for 40minutes) then I helped some friend doing some e-transfer and received a nice 25$USD tip. I also played earlier this week some NL20 at the cegep for 1hour and won a huge 4$.
Week's profit : 150.10$
Number of hours played : 6h55
Rate/Hour : 21.44$/h
